Com vista a agilizar os procedimentos, determinou o Ministério da Educação celebrar um protocolo com o Ministério da Justiça que facilita a emissão do certificado de registo criminal para os fins aqui considerados. Este serviço, para além de permitir agilizar o processo, será gratuito, tanto para o Pessoal Docente como para o Pessoal Não Docente dos Agrupamentos de Escolas e Escolas não Agrupadas uma vez que os interessados beneficiam da isenção de taxa na emissão do certificado, ao abrigo do estipulado no n.º 6 do artigo 35.º da Lei n.º 171/2015, de 25 de agosto pelo que estes trabalhadores não devem recorrer ao serviço de Registo Criminal Online ou aos Balcões de Atendimento Presencial prestado diretamente pelo Ministério da Justiça.
