Peca apenas por tardia, esta medida legislativa há muito reivindicada pelo SPZCentro/FNE. De acordo com a lei, os trabalhadores da Administração Pública vinculados por contrato administrativo de provimento e por contrato individual de trabalho que estejam abrangidos pelo regime de protecção social da função pública e que, à data da produção de efeitos da presente lei, exerçam funções nas administrações directa e indirecta do Estado, regional autónoma e autárquica, bem como em qualquer outra entidade, são enquadrados no regime geral de segurança social dos trabalhadores por conta de outrem, exclusivamente para efeitos de protecção na eventualidade de desemprego.
