O SPZC exige que todos os docentes que tenham pelo menos 730 dias de serviço efetivo prestado no mesmo nível e mesmo grupo de recrutamento e pelo menos cinco anos de serviço docente efetivo com avaliação mínima de bom, sejam dispensados do período probatório.

O SPZC tem recebido várias queixas de professores, nomeadamente, professores que estiveram em funções no ensino particular e cooperativo que reunindo todos os requisitos legais para serem dispensados de cumprir o período probatório, no entanto, as escolas e a administração educativa insistem em não reconhecerem tais requisitos.

Neste sentido, o SPZC, no âmbito da FNE solicitou uma reunião à nova ministra da educação com o objetivo de ultrapassar as divergências de análise sobre esta matéria.
